Russian Aeroflot plane makes emergency landing in Moscow

A Russian passenger plane has made an emergency landing at Moscow airport after a fire broke out mid-flight.

All 78 passengers were reportedly evacuated from the Aeroflot Sukhoi Superjet aircraft after it landed at an airport in Moscow.

At least 13 people dead and several have been injured after a fire on board a Russian passenger plane, forced it to make an emergency landing.

Aeroflot Sukhoi Superjet engine caught fire on flight SU149 from Moscow to Murmansk.

Russian state TV showed footage of the Aeroflot Sukhoi Superjet aircraft with black smoke rising above its tail after it landed at Sheremetyevo International Airport in the north of the capital.
